On Sunday, it was the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11 and on that day we remember all those people who died. There were about at least three thousand killed and four hundred of them were police officers and firefighters. The planes hit at the World Trade center in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and a plane crashed in a field at Pennsylvania. It was 8:46 A.M, when a plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. Eighteen minutes later another plane came rushing in and hit the South Tower. What really surprised me was that the terrorists had lived in the United States for more than a year and they had taken flying lessons. However, others slipped into the United States months before September eleven. At nine-forty five A.M., a plane crashed into the Pentagon. There were one hundred twenty five military killed and sixty four people also died aboard the airplane. Fifteen minutes later after they hit the Pentagon the South Tower collapsed. At ten thirty A.M., the North Tower collapsed. Another plane was hijacked in New Jersey. There were at least forty-five people on board and when they found out that their plane was hijacked, a group of passengers and flight attendants started fighting the terrorists. It was really devastating to know that all this happened and that so many people lost a loved one that day.
